J ust built one, XLT, 2wd, king cab, cloth seats with next to no options - what I would look at buying - and it’s coming up at 32k... Comparable F150 came in at  about 36k...

Yeah these things climbed to the high side of 30k pretty quick.

With that kinda money, I’d just get a CPO mustang GT with a huge custom roof rack that extends to the cars tail, with a gaint wing as a support.

Id still save money.

I know. It’s not new. It’s not a truck.

Yours looks more like a Transit Connect than a Ranger, weird. What an odyssey, I mean oddity! I must ha ve been pil oting a different way through the configurator.

Really the new ridgeline isn’t bad, it’s just so boringly anonymous, and I even get the rear confused with other same-class pickups until I can see the badging.

American brands have always had that problem.

They seem to enter markets thinking they’re better or as good than the competition.

Maybe it has something to do with employees buying only that brand’s cars and what not?  They don’t know how other people don’t have to suffer like they do.

Sure, though other vehicles have had those before. It is nice being able to move the gate out of the way to reach items in the bed.
